Snow is so COOL
Cali doesn't miss California...she's having so much fun in the snow. She puts her nose in it, barks at it, and then jumps like a rabbit around the backyard. (click on the picture to enlarge)

Like a Glove
Well congratulation to BRLA for fitting us with another perfect fit. This is the first morning together and Cali (aka Sassy) and Amy are following each other around the house. Cali is showing her personality already and jumps around like Bambi. She is a sweety. We are going to have so much fun and beautiful memories. We want to thank BRLA and all the staff that made this possible...we are very grateful and will never forget the loving emails and support everyone showed. Thanks from the bottom and tops of our hearts.

Waiting for California
This is a mixed emotional rollercoaster for us. We are missing our Millie (whom Daniel says has grown wings and flown to outter space), but are also very excited to have a new girl come into our lives and out of a kennel. We will and promise to take care of her as much as we did Millie. We know "California Roll" (aka Sassy) will be good to us as well (although Millie set a very high bar).
Her arrival is set for November 17th, only 19 days to go, not that we are counting : )
Thank you everyone for all your love and support. We are so grateful.

Our Millie
As some of you may have already heard. Our Millie is not feeling so great. She has a "mass" in her Spleen. Further testing would confirm whether or not the "mass" is cancerous, but she is not up for the task. We are going to let her be happy, loved and comfortable in her last days.
Praying for a miracle wouldn't hurt, and in the back of my mind I keep hoping its just a big mistake. Especially when she is having a good day. She still lets the kids "maul her with love" and enjoys laying on her back getting tummy rubs. So we are happy she is still with us.
I'm sorry for everyone who has fallen in love with her as much as we have, and who have had the pleasure of knowing her far more than us. We understand your pain as well. We will keep everyone posted as things happen.
